He's a minor and he was arrested for starting a fire at a DMV. The problem is that he wasn't conscious of his actions. Not really. I'm sure you've noticed a lot of imPorts acting strangely lately.

But it's one thing to know that, and it's another thing to mount a legal defense predicated on that. Does he have any idea how it happened?

I can't tell you if it was natural. I don't think it was, given the reports of imPorts being struck by lightning and then acting strangely.

I should rephrase the question. Are you aware, as of yet, of any confirmed non-natural origin of the storm? Where I come from we routinely get visits from people like the Norse God of Thunder, you see, and there's at least one other prominent figure with the power to manipulate weather. And one guy who made a storm manipulating the local weather with a crowd of ants. But as of yet, I've never researched whether or not meteorologists or other scientists could confirm that kind of origin, short of eyewitness accounts.

No, but considering the accuracy of these lightning strikes striking imPorts and not killing them, I don't believe for a second it's natural.

Not entirely, so he'll probably be surprised. I did tell him a friend and I were going to try and get him out as soon as we could.

Probably. I don't see why I wouldn't, but I'll make a final decision once I've spoken to him. I'll at least step in and see if they're really going to pursue filing charges over this, and see him through his arraignment if they are.
